Tom Logan was born the daughter of Melvyn & Kristine Tom.
Her father played for the Philadelphia Eagles & the Chicago Bears
Though she grew up with her mum & brother in Salt Lake City, Utah, she spent her summers with her dad in Hawaii learning how to surf. In 2000, she became the youngest woman ever selected for the US Olympic volleyball team. She was 19. Logan Tom was a student athlete at Stanford University, majoring in international relations & helped the Cardinals win a national title in 2001. She was named the NCAA "Player of The Year" in 2003. In 2004, she posed in a bikini for an FHM . She was ranked number 91 in the FHM 100 Sexiest Women 2005.
She is of Chinese-Hawaiian descent.
Was 1997 Old Spice Athlete of the Month, Sports Illustrated.
1st Stanford women's player to have participated in the Olympics & return to play for the Cardinal. Named 1998 Gatorade Circle of Champions National High School Volleyball Player of the Year. Only high school player to compete for U.S. National Team at World Championship Qualifier January 1999. Competed for U.S. Junior National Team, at 1999 Junior World Championships Canada. Incredible athlete with amazing power & grace. Excellent arm swing gives ability to terminate the ball. Glides through air with excellent vertical jump. Already has played volleyball at the highest levels of competition at early age. Has been iin loads of national, regional & local media interest with feature articles appearing in magazines such as ESPN. Holds Utah state records for career kills & aces,
2003 Helped the United States earn a bronze at 2003 World Cup & a berth in the 2004 Summer Olympic Games in Athens,
Helped USA to 4th at 2000 Olympics, and Quarter Final, at 2004.
She has been compared to a Amazon, & has been seen as the poster girl of US volleyball.
